Devin Symons is a writer and artist living in Washington, DC. He writes short fiction, essays, and long-form nonfiction, and translates Japanese poetry into English. He has been a writer-in-residence at JTHAR, Project 387, VCCA, and Jentel.

His Writers in Person portrait project is featured in Tory Daily and American Short Fiction. He recently illustrated a story for Issue 16 of Barrelhouse Magazine (February 2017).
